How the point-and-click action-RPG is described
Sources checked Steam appdetails for AppID 2378230 and demo AppID 2474130, plus the English store page, on 7 Nov 2026. Press kit at nefariouslair.com read the same day.
Neo Junk City is a point-and-click action-RPG from Starblade Games on Steam (AppID 2378230). The store date is 9 November 2026. On 7 November 2026 the full game was still marked coming soon, Windows only, and not free.
You play as Buster 09 in the Drowned City. The store says you already know you committed a murder and cannot remember why. The press kit calls Buster a law-enforcement android and uses she.
The store splits play into three verbs: investigate with context-sensitive interaction blocks, drive in retro arcade races watched by the Highway Authority System, and shoot in timed pixel-art showdowns.
A free demo (AppID 2474130) is live and is described as the first chapter. There is no redeem-code list on the pages checked, and this guide does not invent puzzle solutions.
This is the overview for Neo Junk City before the 9 November 2026 unlock. It stays with what the Steam store page, the demo listing, and the press kit on the developer’s support site actually print. It does not invent damage numbers, a puzzle route, or a district map. Named places are on Locations. What the first-chapter demo does and does not reveal is on Walkthrough.
What Steam says the game is
The short description on the store:
Sinister tides are rising in the Drowned City. Dive into a Point and Click action-RPG with fast-paced shoot-outs and retro arcade racing. Uncover the truth behind a murder you don’t remember committing!
The longer text sets the game in a dystopian half-sunken metropolis it calls the Drowned City. You investigate murders, race through streets, and shoot through “hordes of robots, psychopaths, and cybernetic monsters.” The closing line asks whether you can save the city from itself as the water keeps rising.

Buster 09
The store’s story bullet: as Buster 09, you navigate the Drowned City to solve a murder. “The only catch? You already know you did it. You just can’t remember why.”
The press kit is more specific and uses different wording. It calls Buster 09 a law-enforcement android, says she is the murderer, and says the memory was wiped. This page reports both sentences. It does not merge them into a scene-by-scene plot.
Store screenshots include a combat bar labeled BUSTER. That is text in the image. The store page does not attach a biography to the screenshot.
Investigate, drive, shoot
The store and the press kit use the same three verbs. The store gives each one a paragraph.
Investigate. Context-sensitive “interaction blocks” change as you explore and as relationships change. The store says interaction icons evolve, hidden interactions open, and new paths and bonds appear. It does not list the icon set or a puzzle recipe.
Drive. Racing is described as fast, retro, and arcade-like, on neon-lit streets. The Highway Authority System “strictly monitors those on the road.” The store’s own warning: drive too slowly and they will not only revoke your license, they will revoke your right to live. No lap times, car list, or track names are printed.
Shoot. Targets appear quickly. The store says you distinguish threats from bystanders and that timing decides the fight. It calls the mode a pixel-art showdown in the style of retro arcade games. No weapon stats are printed.
A separate bullet says the world changes as your impact on the community is felt. No example of a changed location is given.
The free demo
The full-game page says a free demo of the first chapter is live. The demo’s own app, 2474130, has is_free: true, type: demo, and a release date of 7 Feb 2025 with coming_soon: false. Its description:
Dive into the first chapter of Neo Junk City. Get a feel for the world and explore the waterline of the drowned city as Buster 09. Investigate, drive, and shoot your way through the dregs and try to find your way back home, while trying to solve a murder you have no memory of committing.
The full-game page adds a looser teaser: mite-infested waters, a giant mutant rat lady, a holographic car in a synthetic universe, and the name “mr.tickles.” Those are store sentences, not a room list. They are repeated, and limited, on the walkthrough page.
Demo minimum specs are not the full game’s specs. Steam lists Windows 10, a 64-bit CPU, Intel Core2 Duo E6400 at 2.13 GHz, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GT 730 or Radeon HD 4830, DirectX 11, and 1 GB of space. The recommended block on the demo payload only restates a 64-bit processor and operating system. The full game asks for 5 GB and a newer CPU and GPU, and it did not publish a recommended block.
The demo supports the same eight languages as the full game’s language string: English, Portuguese - Brazil, German, Spanish - Latin America, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and Russian.
Languages, content notes, and what is missing
On the English store page, all eight languages have a check for Interface and a check for Subtitles. Full Audio is unchecked for English and for the other seven. This wiki is English only.
The developer content note says Neo Junk City includes mild sexual jokes, adult language, mature themes, and humor that may not suit every player. required_age in appdetails is 0. The ratings object included DEJUS 12, Steam Germany 12, and IGRS 18. No ESRB rating was in that payload.
